Research Associate Kris Autobee participated in a Panel Discussion titled “Urban Farming” at the Lakewood Historical Society Annual Meeting, Lakewood, Colorado on November 14, 2019. This panel discussion looked at land use options for the Schnell Farm which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. Autobee’s “Lakewood Farms: Big Ag to Family Investments” gave context for farming and farm types in Lakewood, specifically the land as a farmer’s investment, and later his widow’s bank account.
